C.O.R.E.

Communities Organized to Respond to Emergencies (C.O.R.E.) is a Miami-Dade program designed to assist all residents of Miami-Dade County who are affected by challenges resulting from post-natural disasters.  Communities United, Inc. is one of the local organizations that works diligently with C.O.R.E. through its Table of Brotherhood connection.  We joined forces with C.O.R.E to work to insure that these services were available to our senior constituents as our platform is to advocate for the underserved and under-represented.

Our constant promise and purpose is to give re-birth, self-reliance and economic stability throughout the Miami-Dade community that impacts our seniors.  C.O.R.E. partnered with faith-based and community organizations to work by its side to insure that all areas of the county receive assistance after a disaster, including those that have traditionally been underserved by the county – a stance that is totally immersed in what Communities United advocates.  Our union with C.O.R.E. permits our organization to provide additional training and resources that we would be unable to provide without this partnership.

Miami-Dade is a diverse community with a diverse partnership. This union strengthens our services to our constituents because it is  broad-based resources that reaches out to an entire community.   Communities United, Inc. continues to be a whirlwind of commitment to work for change that has longevity and a solid foundation to our constituents.
